How to Install a Ceiling Fan
Care in the installation
To carry out the installation, consult a qualified professional for the task, preferably indicated by the shop where the product was purchased;
Before starting the installation, turn off the main switch, check the mains voltage and identify the electrical wires:
ground, neutral and phase;
During installation, do not hold the appliance by the wires alone.
Never mix blades from different models or manufacturers. If they have different weights, the fan may become unbalanced and some parts may come loose.
Make sure that the blades are securely attached to the housing.
Attention in the installation: the location of ceiling fan fixation must support a load of at least 25 kg.
The ceiling fan blades shall be at a height equal to or greater than 2.3 m above the floor and at a minimum distance of 0.5 m from the chandeliers and tall movable walls.
Observe that the opening and closing of doors, windows and cabinet doors will not coincide with the radius of action of the blades.
If the ceiling fan stops working for any reason, it must be switched off by the switch and the service representative should be consulted.
The fan shut-off must be incorporated into the fixed wiring if there are no other means of disconnection (in case of two-phase connection, install a bipolar circuit-breaker or another device that allows the device to shut down completely).
